Situated about 10 miles north of Kyle of Lochalsh we offer traditional Scottish hospitality to all our guests. We have five spacious bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, guests' lounge and dining room with excellent views of woodland and mountain.

Soluis Mu Thuath is Gaelic for Northern Lights and if the weather conditions, atmosphere and time of year are right the Aurora Borealis is visible from our guesthouse.

Whether you are touring, biking, walking or just soaking up the atmosphere we are in an ideal location - just off The Wester Ross Coastal Trail - close for Isle of Skye, Plockton, Eilan Donan and Torridon.


Soluis Mu Thuath is a five bedroom, family run, non-smoking guest-house. All rooms are spacious with en suite shower rooms, central heating, television and hospitality trays. You can relax in the guests' lounge and enjoy superb views or find reading material of local interest, tourist brochures, and board games. We also offer disabled facilities for accompanied disabled people in two of the ground floor rooms

A good breakfast in the dining room looking out over the nearby hillside will set you up for the day what ever you plan. Evening meals are also available with a limited menu - please book before 6 pm Vegetarians are catered for and there is a table licence, so why not make the most of not having to drive and enjoy good fresh food prepared by your hosts.
