The Western Highlands offers dramatic mountain and coastal scenery for you to explore. Stay at Soluis Mu Thuath and make it a base for days touring on Skye and the Islands, Applecross and Torridon, or Glen Sheil and Loch Ness. For a relaxing day nearer to home stroll the woodland walks at Balmacra, Plockton and Strome Ferry. Wildlife is plentiful, and you should be able to see buzzards, eagles, pine martins, deer, seals and otters in the area.

For walkers and cyclists there are many challenging (and less challenging) routes within easy reach at Glen Carron, Torridon. Applecross and Knoydart just waiting for you!!

The nearest bus terminal is at Kyle of Lochalsh and the nearest station Plockton.

If you are coming by public transport why not travel by rail on the spectacular Kyle line and ask to be met at the station.
